This GIS dataset is a count summary of all the public species finds in each county from a national database of invasive species, EDDMapS. The species location GIS data are downloaded nightly from the EDDMapS website and hosted locally for ease of access and use. The minnesota county boundaries derived from a combination of 1:24,000 scale PLS lines, 1:100,000 scale TIGER, 1:100,000 scale DLG, and 1:24,000 scale hydrography lines. At the time of its development (1993), the largest available scale data were assembled to create the layer. |
